How Neloxi works
Three steps. Around 60 seconds. No account, no email, no ID. This page explains what happens behind the scenes so you know exactly what you're paying for.

The 3-step flow
From opening Neloxi to the line being recharged.
- 1
1. Pick the country, operator and amount
Start from the home page or jump straight to your country page (e.g. /country/nigeria). Select the operator. Type the destination phone number. Choose an amount from the operator's standard denominations.
- 2
2. Pay the crypto invoice
Pick one of 12 cryptocurrencies. Neloxi generates a payment address or Lightning invoice, with the price locked for 15 minutes. Scan the QR with any wallet (Phoenix, Wallet of Satoshi, Cake Wallet, Trust, Trezor Suite, MetaMask, Sparrow, BlueWallet…).
- 3
3. The operator delivers the credit
Once the payment has the required confirmations (instant for Lightning and Solana, ~1 minute for Monero and USDT-TRC20, 10–60 minutes for on-chain Bitcoin), Neloxi forwards the order to a wholesale aggregator that triggers the recharge on the operator side. You see a green confirmation; the line owner sees a topped-up balance.
What we do — and don't — store
Stored to make the recharge work
- The destination phone number (forwarded to the operator)
- The amount and selected operator
- The payment crypto and transaction ID
- An optional refund address you provide
Never collected, never stored
- Your name, address, date of birth
- Email or phone of the buyer (you)
- Any government ID, selfie, proof of address
- Credit-card or bank details
- IP address (we strip it from logs at order finalization)
Which crypto should you pick?
All 12 work, but they have different trade-offs. Quick guide:
Smallest top-ups (under $20)
Lightning. Fees are essentially free, settlement is instant.
Want privacy
Monero. Default-private, unlinkable to your other wallets, ~1 min.
Large amount, price-stable
USDT (TRC-20). ~$1 fee, ~1 minute confirmation, stable value.
Already hold Bitcoin on-chain
BTC. Slower (10–60 min), but you don't need to bridge.
What happens if the recharge fails?
Three things can go wrong: a wrong phone number, a suspended line, or a transient operator API outage. In all three cases, Neloxi refunds the full payment to the refund address you provided at checkout, in the same crypto. No support ticket required — the refund is automatic once the order is marked failed.
